Programme details

The Basel Peace Forum 2027 is the 11th edition of the annual cross-sector peacebuilding forum initiated by swisspeace. It will take place on 21 January 2027 at kHaus in Basel, Switzerland, with both in-person and remote participation available. The forum connects participants from around the world and is designed to bring together people from sectors that do not always meet in the same space, including politics, business, diplomacy, science, civil society and the arts.

Basel Peace Forum describes itself as a platform for rethinking peace, developing innovative approaches to peacebuilding and conflict resolution, and creating partnerships across disciplines and sectors. Participation in the 2027 forum is by invitation only. Interested people may contact the organisers to express interest in attending. The detailed 2027 programme and speaker line-up have not yet been announced, so this listing does not carry forward themes or speakers from previous editions as if they were confirmed for 2027.
