Programme details
The European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) is offering a scholarship for its 2027/28 Critical Legal Training with the Business and Human Rights team in Berlin, Germany. The opportunity enables emerging human rights practitioners to gain practical experience in corporate accountability, strategic litigation and human rights advocacy.
ECCHR’s Critical Legal Training combines hands-on legal work with collaborative learning. The selected participant will join the Business and Human Rights team, working alongside experienced colleagues on legal interventions that challenge unequal economic, social and political power relations and seek accountability for corporate human rights violations.
Participants contribute to legal and factual research, prepare legal and policy briefs, draft memoranda and submissions, and support communication with partners and stakeholders. They also assist with project activities, including organising events and participating in internal meetings. The team’s work seeks to strengthen the representation of affected workers, marginalised communities and individuals, particularly those from the Global South, in European legal and policy debates.
