Programme details
The Global Investigative Journalism Conference (GIJC27) brings journalists from different countries together to exchange knowledge and develop their investigative reporting skills. The programme includes expert-led workshops and discussions on online research, data journalism, artificial intelligence and satellite imagery. Participants will explore practical methods for investigating corruption and climate issues. They will also learn how journalists collaborate across borders and conduct investigations in countries where press freedom is restricted.
The conference offers an opportunity to learn directly from experienced investigative reporters and understand how they approach complex stories. Participants can discuss their own reporting challenges, discover useful tools and exchange ideas with journalists working in different environments. For those looking to improve their investigative work or develop new reporting approaches, GIJC27 provides a space to learn from real experiences and build professional connections that may lead to future collaborations.
